The Child Center of NY is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to engage clients across the agency and community. The role focuses on strengthening connections, meeting outreach goals, and ensuring timely follow up with potential clients.

The position requires a high school diploma, and a bachelor’s in social work or related field is preferred. Experience in community outreach and family engagement, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling or related field (Preferred).
• 1 year of experience in Community Outreach and Family Engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
• Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular community outreach.
• Meet outreach goals as established by program.
• Timely follow up with potential clients.
• Prepare client paperwork and documentation.
• Refer clients to organization programs.
• Maintain proper documentation and record keeping.
• Identify appropriate community contacts/agencies and establish working relationships.
• Establish a network for communication of resources and referrals.
• Work with other programs and divisions to identify needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
