Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with young people.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort speaking publicly and presenting to groups of youth, parents, and community stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva or comparable design tools, and social media platforms.
• Ability to represent the program professionally and persuasively to families, schools, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate outreach materials for a range of audiences.
• Strong attention to detail in tracking, documenting, and filing outreach activity for funder review.
• Ability to work independently in the community while maintaining regular communication with site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
• Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA security and privacy policies to protect confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and security of participants by following program protocols and procedures.
• Develop and implement an annual outreach and recruitment plan for the Beacon Community Center, in coordination with the Program Director and site leadership.
• Conduct ongoing outreach and recruitment for afterschool programming and activities to meet enrollment goals.
• Serve as the public voice of the program at community events and meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with school staff, community organizations, and local businesses.
• Coordinate space-use requests and outreach messaging with site leadership.
• Design, produce, and distribute outreach materials in community languages.
• Distribute materials through学校 backpacks, bulletin boards, and local venues.
• Submit announcements to school newsletters and community bulletins.
• Maintain program communications, including emails and social posts with CAMBA staff.
