Job summary

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking part-time Community Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities in the Chanhassen area. This role focuses on daily living activities, safety, and social engagement, with additional shifts available based on client needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, coordinating recreation, and transporting clients to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status.
• Must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office of Inspector General.
• Must be able to successfully meet company's physical job demands.
• Must have a valid current driver’s license, reliable transporttion, and must have vehicle insurance as required by state law.
• Ability to use the computer and do so in aligment with client needs and company procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience with clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and/or mental health needs.
• Interest in supporting clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and/or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with daily care, ADLs, and/or mental health supports.
• Assists individuals with identified areas of need, providing opportunities for choice and presenting creative options as needed.
• Empower individuals to develop and maintain skills that promote independent living.
• Work with the client to plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities.
• Drives to/from and accompanies client at appointments and community activities.
