Job summary

Mt Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist clients with daily living, personal cares, and program implementation. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and home maintenance within a diverse nonprofit serving adults, seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Twin Cities area.

Pay starts at $18/hour with weekend and overnight differentials; retention bonuses apply for full-time and part-time staff, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status.
• Must not be excluded from government health programs by OIG.
• Must meet company physical job demands.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance as required.
• Successful completion of Medication Administration class with 80%+.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs and supports.
• Assist with daily routine: hygiene, housekeeping, grooming, socializing.
• Plan and implement recreation, leisure and community activities.
• Drive to appointments and activities using company vehicle.
• Assist individuals in building community relationships and friendships.
• Follow CSSP/CSSP-A and Individual Abuse Prevention Plan.
• Provide person-centered services in practice and language.
• Maintain knowledge of client history, hazards, and emergency procedures.
• Participate in support team processes and goals.
• Document medications, treatments, diets per CSSP directives.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and policies.
• Prepare meals and place weekly food orders as needed.
• Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Complete quality improvement assessments and address issues.
• Ensure adequate supervision; stay on shift until replacement arrives.
• Communicate clearly with all colleagues and clients.
• Complete mandatory training and follow policies.
• Stay awake during shifts unless sleeping shift assigned.
• Document program data and daily logs accurately.
• Collaborate with team to complete other duties.
