Job summary

IWG in Portland, ME is seeking a Part-time Community Associate to join the on-site team at 66 Pearl St. This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing day-to-day center operations, and supporting members and visitors in a dynamic workspace.

A friendly communicator with a customer-first attitude will thrive, handling inquiries, coordinating with center staff, and assisting with setup needs (Wi-Fi, meetings, coffee).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Ability to take ownership of problems and solve them.
• Positive, enthusiastic and adaptable to fast-changing situations.
• Experience and confidence using MS Office and basic IT equipment.
• Legally eligible to work in the country and at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and visitors across the center.
• Handle inquiries, route requests, and support billing/invoicing needs.
• Assist with setup needs (Wi‑Fi, projectors, meeting rooms).
• Coordinate with City Manager and center staff to ensure smooth operations.
