Almost Family in Hesperia/Victorville is seeking a Part-Time Supported Employment Job Developer to provide individualized career development and job placement for adults with IDD. You will identify client interests, teach job-ready skills, and connect them with local employers.

This client-specific role emphasizes building partnerships and supporting onboarding, while ensuring compliance and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background clearance.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance if driving.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Certification in ACRE/Certified Employment Support Professional or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Career discovery, assessment and community exploration with clients.
• Develop and place clients in suitable job opportunities with local employers.
• Outreach to businesses and community partners to expand options.
• Prepare resumes, practice interviews and assist with onboarding.
• Analyze worksites and breakdown tasks for teachable steps.
• Provide coaching during early employment and maintain documentation.
• Liaise with employers and ensure clear communication and problem-solving.
• Maintain notes and comply with IPP and agency standards.
