Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a reliable in‑house Maintenance Technician to keep our Pelham facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly. You will handle general repairs and service TurboChef ovens, refrigeration, and coffee machines with on‑the‑job training provided.

The role requires hands‑on handyman experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and strong problem‑solving. You will work independently, maintain records, and collaborate with vendors as needed while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role.
• Basic plumbing repair knowledge.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment is a plus; training provided.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, power washing).
• Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment including TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs as required.

We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on In‑House Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll be the go‑to person for keeping our facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly — from general repairs and plumbing to commercial kitchen equipment like TurboChef ovens, freezers/refrigeration units, and coffee machines.

No specific certification on our equipment is required —we provide full training on TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee/beverage equipment. What matters most is a strong general maintenance/handyman background and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
