Qualifications

• Possession of any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience.
• OR
• Any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
• OR
• The equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, mentoring, and coaching to student-athletes in skills and strategies; evaluate performance and refine team plans.
• Assist in planning and scheduling competitions, tournaments, and events; distribute schedules and report statistics.
• Establish and maintain safety standards; demonstrate techniques to prevent injuries; document injuries and report.
• Create a positive atmosphere; support academic progress and mentorship; refer students to services as needed.
• Assist with recruiting in compliance with 3C2A regulations and maintain contact with prospective student-athletes.
• Develop the sport team budget and manage expenses; procure equipment and uniforms; maintain inventory records.
• Ensure program compliance with 3C2A regulations and disciplinary procedures; report violations as required.
• Promote attendance at athletic events and assist in fund-raising efforts.
• Provide work direction to others.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
