Job summary

Regis University Athletics is seeking a dedicated part-time Athletics CDL Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for NCAA Division II student-athletes, coaches, and staff to away games and events. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.

Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL with a passenger endorsement (air brake preferred), maintain a current DOT Medical Certificate, pass random drug tests, and clear a university background check.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL is required.
• Active Passenger (P) endorsement; Air Brake endorsement preferred.
• Clean MVR meeting university vehicle insurance requirements.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate; pass random drug/alcohol tests.
• Able to sit for long drives and lift up to 50 lbs; clear a university background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transport for Regis Rangers athletic teams to away games, tournaments, and practices.
• Navigate long-distance regional trips and variable winter driving conditions.
• Perform mandatory DOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
• Adhere to FMCSA hours-of-service limits and logging requirements.
• Load and secure heavy gear; keep the bus fleet clean and safe before/after trips.
