The role emphasizes safe driving, pre/post-trip inspections, and collaboration with coaches and staff, with shifts mostly after school into evenings for the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a Passenger Endorsement required.
• Clean driving record with a history of safe vehicle operation.
• Previous commercial driving or student transportation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal DOT safety regulations and vehicle inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL vehicles safely to transport student-athletes, coaches, and staff to practices, away games, and competitions.
• Ensure a safe, supportive transportation environment for student-athletes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain adherence to all DOT regulations and school safety policies.
• Assist with loading/unloading athletic gear and equipment as needed.
• Communicate trip schedules and delays to athletic administration.
