Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate property maintenance, municipal and zoning code violations.
• Conduct site inspections for new construction and home improvements for Code compliance.
• Explain codes and procedures to builders, owners and the public and resolve complaints.
• Document inspections, actions taken and regulatory efforts; prepare reports and notices to correct violations.
• Gather documentary evidence for court use and testify at hearings as required.
• Maintain knowledge of Property Maintenance, Municipal and Zoning Codes and updates.
• Organize work, set priorities and meet deadlines; maintain courteous public interactions.
