Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant for Sunday and Monday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Coachman Square in Woodbridge, CT. You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment and work closely with the care team.

The role requires a CNA/HHA/LNA license and prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is preferred. Dementia care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Provides compassionate resident care and supports daily living activities
• Willingness to document and report changes in residents' health or behavior
• Desire to work with residents who have dementia is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Document care provided and report changes to staff
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
• Use good customer service to ensure meaningful care
• Perform additional duties as needed

Coachmen Square at Woodbridge is hiring Part Time CNA forSunday and Monday for 7a-3p

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
