Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role in Greenville. Work three days a week from 12n to 5pm with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in the home setting, assist with transfers and daily living activities, maintain accurate records, and follow the Plan of Care under supervision, while upholding patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising staff.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and activities; light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain complete records required by the agency.
• Record and report changes in the client’s condition.
• Follow the Plan of Care and never administer medications.
