Job summary

Maplewood is seeking a Part Time CNA (PM or NOC) to join our care team in Sauk Prairie. The role focuses on daily hands-on care, safety, dignity, and emotional well-being of residents under supervision of licensed nurses. Alternate weekends required, 32 hours per week, with a $250 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, vital signs, and reporting changes to staff. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Certification: valid, active CNA license or certification in good standing.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift or move residents (often 35–50 lbs).
• Strong communication, active listening, patience, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• ADLs: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet needs.
• Mobility: help transfers between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs; reposition bedridden residents.
• Nutrition: serve meals, assist eating, and record intake.
• Vitals: measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
• Observation: monitor changes and report concerns to nursing staff immediately.
• Environment: respond to call lights, change linens, keep areas clean and safe.
