Job summary

Power Center Academy High School, part of Gestalt Community Schools, seeks a qualified nursing professional to instruct a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program in partnership with TCAT.

The role involves delivering 60 hours of classroom instruction and 60 hours of supervised clinical instruction, with a 25:1 classroom ratio and 15:1 clinical ratio. It is a part-time independent contractor engagement with flexible scheduling through 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional nursing experience, including at least one (1) year in long-term care.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 60 hours of classroom instruction using the TCAT CNA curriculum.
• Provide 60 hours of clinical instruction and supervision at a long-term care facility.
• Maintain attendance records, grades, and program documentation; evaluate student progress.
• Coordinate with TCAT representatives and school personnel; participate in program-related meetings.
• Dedicate approximately 3-4 hours per week to planning, grading, and administrative tasks.
