Job summary

Power Center Academy High School, part of Gestalt Community Schools, seeks a qualified nursing professional to instruct its TCAT CNA training program. The instructor will deliver the TCAT curriculum, provide classroom instruction, supervise students during clinical experiences, and evaluate progress to meet program requirements and instructional standards.

Registered Nurses are preferred; qualified LPNs with instructional qualifications will be considered.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN licensure with nursing experience.
• Experience teaching, training, or supervising adults in an instructional setting.
• Ability to deliver TCAT CNA curriculum and assess student progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide 60 hours classroom instruction using the TCAT CNA curriculum.
• Provide 60 hours of clinical instruction and supervision at a long-term care facility.
• Maintain attendance records, grades, and TCAT documentation.
• Coordinate with TCAT representatives and school personnel on schedule and requirements.
• Prepare lessons, grade, and assess student performance within 12-week program.
