College of Eastern Idaho is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor for Salmon, ID. The role delivers online didactic CNA content and in-person lab skills while ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have an active Idaho RN license, at least two years of RN experience, and one year of elderly care experience. Training by the Idaho DHW as a CNA Instructor is required or must be completed.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Idaho.
• Two years’ RN experience.
• One year experience caring for the elderly in a long-term care setting or elderly care as an RN.
• Approved by Idaho DHW as CNA Instructor and Train-the-Trainer program if not completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online didactic portion of CNA class and in-person lab skills.
• Maintain CNA guidelines per state, CEI WTCE, and Idaho CTE.
• Respond to student/instructor/staff communications.
• Report problems with students to Programs Director/Healthcare Programs Manager.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain professional knowledge and adhere to standards.
