Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to work part-time as a Staffing Coordinator in Greenville. Shifts are 12n–5pm, three days per week, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in patients' homes, assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and daily living activities, maintain records, and follow the Plan of Care under supervision. EVV tasks and timely reporting are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene care.
• Assist with methods of transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities as needed.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting independence within client abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
