Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (PRN) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. Responsibilities include daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and assistance with meals, transfers, and mobility.

Casual/PRN schedule with at least six shifts per month, weekend rotations and additional incentives for evenings and weekends. CNA certification required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process of obtaining certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age 16.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning and mobility.
• Support infection prevention and compliance with PPE and care plans.
