Job summary

La Paloma Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care and assist residents according to care plans. You will identify residents, document care accurately, and communicate changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant per state law.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general materials.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents with wristband/photo ID before care.
• Record entries accurately in charts and flow sheets.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care.
• Transport and reposition residents safely.
• Follow policies for blood/body fluid exposure and safety.
• Participate in nursing shifts and handoffs with accuracy.
