Benchmark Senior Living in Brookfield, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and deliver warm, resident-centered care in a home-like environment. You will assist with daily living activities and support residents with dignity and respect.

This role emphasizes accurate documentation, teamwork, and engaging residents in meaningful activities, with a focus on emotional support and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
