Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Middletown, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated care team. You will deliver resident-centered care in a warm, home-like setting, assisting with daily activities and ensuring comfort and safety.

Requirements include a valid CNA license; prior SNF or assisted living experience is preferred, and experience with dementia is desirable. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

• Experience with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
