Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Milford, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and report changes to staff, while engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.

Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required; prior SNF/ALF experience and dementia care familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving roles preferred but not required.
• Dementia care familiarity desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
