Job summary

John Knox Village Limited is seeking a PRN (as needed) CNA to provide personal care and support for terminally ill patients on-site in Lee's Summit, MO. The role requires collaborating with the RN Case Manager and documenting care and patient changes.

Candidates should hold Missouri or Kansas CNA certification as applicable, have a valid BLS, and be able to drive if needed. This position supports our Hospice program with a strong emphasis on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED typically required for this role.
• Missouri CNA certification required if working in Missouri; Kansas CNA and Home Health Aide certification required if working in Kansas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to the patient and assists with ADLs as directed by the RN Case Manager.
• Updates the RN Case Manager of changes in condition or patient needs during or after visits.
• Documents care provided and communications with RN Case Manager and other team members.
• Completes bedside documentation and ensures visits are locked at completion.
