Job summary

City of Raleigh North Carolina seeks a Part-Time Maintenance Analyst Planner to support Raleigh Water in maintenance planning, data management, and performance reporting for wastewater systems. The role emphasizes CMMS data handling, reporting, and collaboration with operations and supervisory staff.

The incumbent will travel to various job sites using a City-owned vehicle, with responsibilities spanning data entry, analysis, and project support in a utilities environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business management, environmental science, or a related field.
• Two years of utilities operations, maintenance, or planning experience; or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, compiles, enters, verifies, and maintains maintenance and program management data in CMMS.
• Performs routine analysis of workflow, asset backlog, maintenance activities, and process data; identifies performance gaps and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Prepares reports, charts, spreadsheets, operating procedures, and presentations; tracks benchmarks and KPIs and summarizes activity trends.
• Assists with maintenance planning activities, including job research, resource needs identification, scheduling, and prioritization of work.
• Supports annual budget development through data collection, analysis, and reporting; provides input on plan reviews and requirements.
• Manages and supports CMMS use within the assigned division, including coordinating and addressing training needs.
• Provides special project support to management and supervisory staff.
• Performs any other task in support of the Maintenance team.
• This role will be required to safely operate a City-owned vehicle in order to travel to various job sites on a regular basis.
