Job summary

CALRegional in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant to support student learning and skill labs. You'll follow an established course outline, assist the Lead instructor, and help maintain standards while mentoring students.

Working 2–3 days weekly, 1:00 pm–5:00 pm, you’ll contribute to a supportive, tech-savvy learning environment. Experience as a Medical Assistant or related field is required; familiarity with A&P, medical terminology, basic pharmacology,

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Aid student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Aid in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
• Aid all required skill labs with the Lead instructor.
