Job summary

CALRegional is hiring a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant in Merced, CA to support student learning in healthcare training programs. No teaching experience is required, and 1 year of related medical experience is preferred.

The program runs 8–10 weeks with evening sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at Merced, CA. The role offers pay between $20 and $25 per hour, plus opportunities for bonuses in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back office procedures such as EKG, Urine tests, vitals, injections, and wound care.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Aid student learning by following an established course outline.
• Support student learning outcomes in the classroom.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter and teaching methods.
• Assist with skill labs under the lead instructor.
