Job summary

Ampla Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a part-time role in a clinic setting. You will greet and room patients, take vitals, document in the EHRA, and assist providers with exams, procedures, and care plans while following infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities include administering medications and immunizations per protocol, collecting lab specimens, coordinating referrals, and educating patients on follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Completion of an accredited MA training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and care plans.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Collect and process lab specimens
• Manage referrals, follow-ups, and patient education.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow infection control guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
