Job summary

Ampla Health in Magalia, CA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. This part-time position features an hourly salary range of $27.56–$37.20.

You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with exams, administer medications, and help manage referrals and patient education while upholding infection control and EHR documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Completion of an accredited MA training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; take vital signs and document in EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and care plans
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Collect and process lab specimens
• Manage referrals, follow-ups, and patient education
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow infection control guidelines
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality improvement activities
