Job summary

Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support PCP office operations in Osterville. The role involves clinical assistance, patient flow management, and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

The ideal candidate will have a formal medical assisting program, BLS certification, and experience with EHR systems. This position offers flexibility across MACC practices and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Post-secondary medical assisting program is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering clinical care under supervision.
• Manage daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care.
• Greet patients, escort to exam rooms, and verify identifiers.
• Document vital signs and clinical information in EHR accurately.
• Support clinicians with procedures and tests as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Administer routine injections under supervision and document.
• Participate in meetings/trainings to improve care quality.
• Float to other MACC practices as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
