Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Sample Management Coordinator in a part-time/variable hour role. You will manage biological samples from clinical trials, maintain equipment, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring compliance with GCP and SOPs.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, customer service, and timely study-event management, with potential to move to full-time based on needs. Pay starts at $18.35–$24.00 per hour, reflecting location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented, well organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of trial participants and sponsors.
• Maintain high level of customer service and quality within the dept.
• Report procedural deviations to supervisory team.
• Handle protocol-driven timed study events and SOP-driven windows.
• Perform clinical trial activities including sample handling and shipping.
• Maintain equipment and document accordingly.
• Coordinate with external vendors and couriers.
• Communicate sample management statuses with study teams.
• Assist in data queries and generate sample management reports.
• Complete training and perform general admin tasks as required.
