The University of Maryland, Baltimore invites applications for two part-time Clinical Instructor positions in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. One appointment is 0.2 FTE (one day per week) and the other is 0.4 FTE (two days per week).

Candidates will teach at undergraduate and residency levels, supervise dental students, and provide patient care in the OMFS Clinic and Acute Care Clinic at UMB School of Dentistry and the UM Medical Center.

Qualificações

• DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree and Maryland licensure eligibility.
• Possession of or eligibility for a Class III anesthesia permit desirable.
• Formal residency training in Oral Surgery/OMFS required.
• Teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs is advantageous.
• Exceptional candidates with non-residency training but significant OMFS experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels.
• Supervise dental students and care for patients in OMFS clinics.
• Teach at the UMB School of Dentistry and UM Medical Center clinical settings.
