The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) invites applications for two part-time Clinical Instructor positions in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. One position is 0.2 FTE (1 day per week) and the other 0.4 FTE (2 days per week).

The roles involve academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervising dental students, and treating patients in the OMS Clinic, Acute Care Clinic at the School of Dentistry, and the OMFS Clinic at UMMC.

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD, or an equivalent degree required.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland.
• Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland class III anesthesia permit is highly desirable.
• Formal OMFS residency training required; exceptional candidates with extensive OMFS experience may be considered.
• Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching is advantageous.

Responsibilities
