Job summary

Hope the Mission in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Monitor (CSM) to help keep participants safe, support daily operations, and uphold program standards across Interim Housing sites. The CSM works on-site with staff, performs wellness checks, monitors activities, assists with intake, and responds to incidents using trauma-informed de-escalation.

Flexible shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in homeless services or shelter operations preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and supports daily operations on-site.
• Performs wellness checks and monitors site activity for safety and compliance.
• Assists with intake, orientation, and communication of site guidelines.
• Distributes hygiene supplies and supports meal service and general duties.
• Completes daily reports and documents participant movements and incidents.
• Provides shift coverage and communicates updates between shifts.
