Job summary

Hope the Mission is seeking a Part-Time Client Services Monitor to support on-site operations at our Pacoima site. You will help keep participants safe, assist with daily duties, and uphold our program standards with empathy and respect.

Ideal candidates bring reliability, good judgment, and a commitment to serving people experiencing homelessness. You’ll work with staff to ensure the program runs smoothly, meet contract requirements, and reflect HTM’s values in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in homeless services, shelter operations or social services preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps participants safe and conducts wellness checks each shift.
• Assists with daily operations, sanitation, and safety procedures on-site.
• Performs documentation and reporting (DARs, HMIS) accurately and timely.
• Coordinates transportation for participants as needed and maintains safety during shifts.
• Provides direct assistance to participants and connects them to appropriate staff or resources.
