Job summary

Talbots in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support daily store operations. You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and drive sales through thoughtful service and product knowledge.

You should be comfortable using POS systems, be reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior retail or fashion experience is a plus, and a positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas such as Clientelling/Outreach and Appointment Setting.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Seek to understand customer needs with curiosity and confidence through conversation.
• Share current products and fashion trends to wardrobe and inspire trust.
• Participate in community/store activities and events that promote the Talbots brand.
• Represent the brand image in a professional manner.
