Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of housekeeping or custodial work.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Works well with others and supports YMCA mission.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize facility areas per schedule.
• Use cleaning equipment correctly; report issues.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Mop floors and vacuum carpets.
• Wash windows and dust surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycle.
• Complete maintenance logs as directed.
• Respond to spills and address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follow YMCA and OSHA safety standards and use PPE.
• Maintain grounds and clear walkways.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
