Responsibilities

• Models the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas.
• Assists in minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
• Assists in cleaning/restrooms, fitness areas, and child care rooms.
• Maintains a neat janitors’ room and stocks supplies.
• Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational.
• Washes windows and inspects for safety hazards.
