Job summary

The Downtown YMCA is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for the evening shift (8pm–12am). You will perform daily cleaning, including locker rooms, to keep the facility neat and safe. This role is open to male applicants who can work the stated hours and meet the job requirements.

Responsibilities include following the daily checklist, mopping, dusting, trash, windows, vacuum, and report repairs or hazards. Qualifications: at least six months of related experience preferred; ability to read

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by completing the daily checklist.
• Perform duties such as wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and other general cleaning.
• Record and report repairs as needed and report hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
