Beacon Hill Schools is seeking a Part-Time Classroom Support Teacher to assist Lead and Assistant Teachers in our preschool program serving ages infancy through school age. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for candidates balancing other commitments or students.

Position requires high school diploma or GED, background check, drug screen, CPR/First Aid, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment and support daily classroom

Qualifications

• Interest in early childhood education and supporting young learners.
• Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in multiple classrooms and age groups.
• Warm, patient, and responsive to children’s needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous experience working with children preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily lesson plans and classroom routines per Frog Street curriculum and Beacon Hill Schools practices.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times.
• Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through classroom activities.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and caregiving routines.
• Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and administration across classroom settings.
• Communicate respectfully with children, families, and colleagues.
• Adapt to different age groups, routines, and classroom expectations.
• Follow DECAL licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and school policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom environment.
• Support daily parent communication as directed by staff.
