City Garden Montessori School is seeking a part-time Support Assistant to serve as a flexible floater in our classrooms. The role requires experience with children and comfort with changing daily tasks.

Responsibilities include classroom support, lunch service assistance, and before/aftercare supervision. The position emphasizes a positive, nurturing approach, adherence to school rules, and safe supervision in both instructional and non-instructional settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with young students in a school or supervised setting.
• Ability to adapt to changing duties and be a flexible team player.
• Strong communication with adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to lead teachers as directed by the Principal and Building Operations Manager.
• Provide behavior and physical support to students as needed.
• Act as a utility player throughout the building, providing support as determined by administration.
• Serve as a positive, nurturing role model for students.
• Model professional and ethical standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Safely supervise students in instructional and assessment activities.
