Job summary

Christian Career Center is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant for a part-time role at a Newberg church facility. The position supports the Building Manager with care, maintenance, and security of church buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance, event setup, vehicle upkeep, and collaboration with custodial and security staff. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work indoors and outdoors, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Work Environment indoors and outdoors; operation of equipment such as vacuum, ladder, hammer, power drills.

Responsibilities

• Help with day-to-day maintenance of building systems.
• Assist with contracted plant maintenance and grounds upkeep.
• Support ongoing contract commitments.
• Aid in event set-up and tear-down for church facilities.
• Provide emergency on-call services when requested by Building Manager.
• Coordinate with custodial and security staff as needed.
