Job summary

Centralsf is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to keep church facilities in good repair. The role covers building maintenance and groundskeeping, with light tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

You will help set up and tear down for services and events, and maintain safe, well-functioning spaces. The position requires basic trades knowledge, physical stamina, and reliable, service-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Stay on top of repair needs throughout the building, addressing issues as they arise.
• Perform light repairs on doors, lighting, ceilings, and other building components.
• Complete HVAC-related maintenance, including filter changes and minor repairs.
• Handle basic plumbing repairs.
• Assemble furniture and other items as needed.
• Set up and tear down furniture for services, meetings, and events.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
