Rainbow’s End Learning Center in Waynesburg, PA is hiring a Part-time Childcare Teacher to create a safe, caring, and engaging classroom for children 6 weeks to school age. You will support the teaching team, plan play-based activities, and maintain open communication with families.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years (2,500 hours) of childcare experience, and a CDA is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED — required.
• Associate’s Degree — preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years (or 2,500 hours) working with children — required.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential — preferred.
• Clearances (PA State Police, DHS, FBI, PA Child Abuse, National Sex Offender Registry) required.

Aufgaben

• Create a safe, loving, and fun learning environment for children from 6 weeks to school age.
• Support teaching team and guide daily activities and routines.
• Plan play-based learning activities using Creative Curriculum.
• Communicate with parents and share milestones and giggles.
• Keep classroom clean, safe, and sparkle-ready.
• Float between classrooms to maintain ratios and smiles.
• Assist with snacks, naps, diaper duties, and toddler footwear.
