Job summary

MCHAP seeks a part-time Chaplain in Melbourne, FL to serve employees and their families, providing spiritual care and confidential pastoral support in a remote capacity.

The role requires Christian maturity, interfaith sensitivity, and strong communication skills. Regular site visits and coordination with the Employee Care Service are essential. Must pass background checks and maintain appropriate licensing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as messenger of faith, mission, and purpose to employees and families.
• Make regular visits to worksites (usually weekly) to build relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions on personal issues.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support.
• Offer resources and referrals for employee needs and life issues.
• Coordinate with company leadership on Employee Care Service.
