Qualifications

• Must be certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.
• Strong leadership, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of methods, terminology, principles, practices, procedures, materials and equipment used in swim instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent swimming and water safety instruction to participants.
• Create lesson plans, methods and goals for each class.
• Complete required paperwork for each class.
• Maintain positive interactions with students, parents, co-workers and supervisors.
• Enforce and follow the Natatorium's rules and policies.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Be available to sub for instructors.
• Assist with moving deck and water equipment as needed.
• Retrieve equipment for class and put away after use.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and complete cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Attend meetings or in-services as required.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator.
