Job summary

Responsible for teaching American Red Cross Learn to Swim lessons. Evaluate participants' experience level. Maintain participant records. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certificate or ability to acquire certification in the first six months of hire.
• Experience and/or knowledge in the instruction of swimming at all levels of aquatic ability.
• Ability to work with large groups of people.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
• Must be physically working in the building/site.

Rate of Pay

$17.14-$19.14 per hour.
