Alamo Colleges District is seeking a Certified Peer Advisor – Student Success to support the Student Advising team and assist in a range of student services. The role provides encouragement to students and helps connect them with the appropriate college resources.

The position is part-time and hourly, with 19 hours per week. Candidates must be enrolled in at least six credits and complete Peer Advisor Certification within the first year, with badges to be completed as required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at an ACD college or another accredited institution.
• Must complete Peer Advisor Certification training within the first year of employment.
• Must complete badges related to this position as determined by the Alamo Colleges.

Responsabilités

• Assists Student Success staff in a variety of student services areas.
• Provides assistance and encouragement to all students.
• Refers students to appropriate college service area when necessary.

Formation

Enrolled in at least six credit hours

Peer Advisor Certification training within first year
