Job summary

Alamo Colleges District is seeking a Certified Peer Advisor for the Student Success team in San Antonio. This part-time, hourly role supports undergraduates and assists with a range of student services.

The position requires enrollment in at least six credit hours and completion of Peer Advisor Certification within the first year. It is a 19-hour-per-week role with M-F hours, and some evenings or Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the ACD colleges or another accredited institution after attending or graduating from an ACD college.
• Must complete badges related to this position as determined by the Alamo Colleges.
• Must complete Peer Advisor Certification training, as assigned, within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists Student Success staff in a variety of student services areas.
• Provides assistance and encouragement to all students.
• Refers students to appropriate college service area when necessary.
