Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification (valid CNA certificate number) required.
• Experience with memory care preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments

• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
